Business VoIP provider Broadvox has announced that it will be making major improvements to the re-launched version of its Hosted Communications service. Originally unveiled over the summer, the cloud-based collaboration and voice service combines phone, fax, instant messaging, video, web collaboration and voicemail to help businesses connect internally, and with their customers.

American company Cablevision Systems Corp recently confirmed that Optimum Voice® SIP Trunking is certified with Barracuda Networks’ CudaTel 270 Communication Server. The platform offers small businesses an efficient voice service, enabling them to benefit from an IP PBX system without the costs associated with a customary T-1 solution or analog gateway.

In order to reduce spending, Saudi Arabian Airlines has transitioned from traditional telephonic communication modes to an IP telephony system, which now covers its worldwide network, according to a press statement from service provider SITA.

NEC Corporation of America has revealed that certification has been awarded to Voice Carrier for its own SIP platform, allowing it to work jointly with the SL1100 Communications System and NEC UNIVERGE SV8100 Communications Server. Essentially, the certification means that the servers will efficiently work with Voice Carrier’s IntelliSIP SIP trunking platform.
