So this is the first post of 2009, and gives us an opportunity to talk about what we are up to in the first month of the new year. The Packnet VoIP portal is progressing and new functionality is due to come online at the end of January.
This will include, additional functionality to dialplan and hunt group maintenance. New bulk rate card application allowing users to upload one rate card and apply it to multiple customers. Applying credit limits to customers. New catalogue items within the billing and financial modules. Future releases will see the incorporation of VoIP hardware ordering, and the ability to turn off invoicing on a per customer basis in favour of consolidated billing.

After a troublesome month on the core network all upgrade works have been completed and all email and web services have been returned to normal. Support services are back to standard operating times and out of hours support hasn’t changed.
So we’d like to wish all our customers a Happy and Prosperous 2009.
