Our Hosted IP Telephony Solution 'Metis'
Packnet have been developing our Hosted IP Telephony Solution for the past year. In this time we haven’t given the platform a name. That has now changed and we can say that ‘Metis’ has been launched. Why have we waited until now?
Well this release of the software has brought about some fundamental changes to what we do and what the system brings to our resellers.
The most important change is the introduction of the distribution channel level within the system. This allows the reseller to set up individual channel operators and they in-turn have their own customers. This is something which we believe is a unique selling feature. As with all things within Metis it still looks after your billing, administration, Rate Card Management and of course all your IP Telephony & Hosted PBX needs.
So the system now has 4 levels of functionality:
- Administrator (Thats us)
- Reseller
- Channel
- Customer
In addition we have created a full new reporting suite to meet the demands of our customers. We have attached some slides of these new reports in the main body of the site and you can click here to see them.
We believe that this system will rival anything that is seen with the larger telecommunications operators and will allow our customers to embrace Hosted IP Telephony as the way forward.
