The Draytek 2820 series router is compatible with both ADSL/ADSL2+ and cable technologies. The router has dual WAN ports which enable the support of ADSL and Cable. In addition to this the router also support 3G modem technology. The Gigabit port on the router provides a faster link where needed be that to a gigabit switch or to a server on the network. The N model support wirless N and the V model has twin VoIP ports with PSTN passthrough.
The firewall within the 2820 series offers the latest security protection for DDOS, IP based attacks and access from unauthorised remote systems. Load Balancing can be maintained between both connectivity methods. Content filtering and an object based firewall, and VPN management all come as standard.
The management interface allows full SNMP, syslog tracking, traffic management and monitoring all from an easy to use interface. The 2820 is the perfect router for the business and of course its fully SIP aware.
