Working with Vodafone and Eclipse Internet – PackNet can help businesses without a phone or internet service by provisioning and procuring a variety of connectivity options.
These range from Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Lines (ADSL) and Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) to Ethernet Wire Lines (EWL) which is our optimum top end superfast fibre based product.
PackNet’s EWL offers affordable, secure high-speed connectivity via an uncontended symmetrical speed product providing point-to-point Ethernet connectivity between our clients and the PackNet core network in Manchester, to deliver superfast connectivity via light waves.
As our top end product PackNet’s EWL carries a full Service Level Agreement and a complete guarantee that any repairs required will be conducted within 4 hours (24/7, 365 days a year.)
The future of current UK connectivity to the masses up to 80 MB.
Fibre to the cabinet is a combination of fibre optic cable and copper cable. The fibre optic cable is in place from the local telephone exchange to a distribution point (commonly called a roadside cabinet), from this distribution point a standard telephone line based on copper is then used to deliver the broadband connectivity.
The most common method of connectivity in the UK. Up to 10/24mb downstream and 1-1.5MB upstream. It's possible to get higher on the upstream from certain providers to a maximum of 2.5 MB.
Our online portal Metis provides a one stop shop for customers to manage their business telephony requirements and encapsulates reporting, analytics and billing facilities.
