With Alistair Darling’s pre-budget report (PBR) due out at some point today one of the most expected changes is the reduction in VAT from 17.5% to 15%. Packnet have been working with our good friends over at Webpraxis to create a new online booking system for the leisure industry. The system allows owners of Health Centres and Gym’s to setup all their classes online and in turn allow their customer to book classes directly from the web.

Packnet Trial Use of Xen Server

Packnet have been trialing the use of the Xen Server for Linux. Originally spun out from Cambridge, Xen Server has recently been taken over by Citrix. The Xen Suite allows the user to create multiple virtual machines on one server without reducing performance and usability.
